The 6th U.S.–China Hong Kong Forum was held on November 16–18, 2025, under the theme “Circles for Peace,” commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the founding of the United Nations. This year’s Forum featured three thematic circles: Artificial Intelligence, Geopolitics, and People-to-People Exchanges.

The 5th U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum was held on November 15-16, 2024, under the theme "Reflection and Forecast." This year's forum came just after the U.S. presidential election and on the cusp of a new administration, setting the stage for critical dialogue on the future of the bilateral relationship.

The 4th U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum was held on November 9-10, 2023, under the theme "Change and Progress." The conference recognized shifts in the bilateral relationship and the global impact of the U.S.-China relationship, while embracing the momentum of new optimism to drive outcomes and progress, and the Hong Kong Forum’s ambition to build an inclusive approach to solutions-building.

The 3rd U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum was held virtually on January 19-21, 2022, under the theme "Beyond Differences, Towards Cooperation." The high-level meeting convened at a pivotal moment while Hong Kong was heavily impacted by the pandemic.

The 2nd Hong Kong Forum, themed "U.S.-China Relations: The Way Forward," was held virtually on January 26-28, 2021, after a challenging year in which the world was tested by the impacts of COVID-19. Distinguished experts gathered virtually, assessing key issues and areas of cooperation following the inauguration of President Joe Biden in the United States.

The inaugural U.S.-China Hong Kong Forum, themed “U.S.-China Trade and Economic Relations: What Now, What Next,” took place on July 9-10, 2019. The event coincided with the 40th anniversary of U.S.-China diplomatic relations and built upon the momentum of the G20 summit, where the two nations' leaders had reached a consensus to resume trade negotiations on June 29.
